We are Field Street.
Located in Detroit’s Lower Eastside, within the heart of the Islandview neighborhood, the Field Street Block Club (FSBC) represents five blocks along Field Street, stretching from Mack Avenue to St. Paul. Each month, we gather for community meetings to address neighborhood concerns, develop action plans, and organize events that strengthen our bonds and improve our shared space.
Our members come from diverse backgrounds and walks of life, but we are united by a common purpose: to build an intentional, connected community where neighbors support one another and work together to ensure a safe, healthy, and thriving environment for all.

President
Jennine grew up on Field Street and also raised her children here. She is the captain of the ship, keeping things moving forward and always looking out for the interests of the block. She has a passion for community organizing, helping the senior citizens on the street, and making relationships with other organizations.

Daisy Jackson
Vice President
Miss. Daisy is the heartbeat of Field Street. An active organizer and mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Miss. Daisy is a fourth-generation Detroiter who has lived in her Islandview home for 50 years. She is also an amazing cook who is always head of the grill at our BBQs!
